I'm looking advice for a florist, chair rentals, and photographer for wedding in North Houston, TX?

I am getting married in October of this year, I am looking for:

Florist- I need 1 brides bouquet, 4 brides maids, 3 mothers corsage, 1 groom boutonniere, 4 best men boutonniere, 3 fathers boutonniere, and 1 throw away. Also an undecided number of small centerpieces. I would like real flowers but if you think silk would be cheaper then I can do that also.

Chair rentals- I'm looking for the white wood reception chairs. These will be for the actual ceremony and I need about 200 of them.

Photographer- Obviously for the wedding, ceremony and reception. No video just pictures.

What I'm really looking for is advice on how to do all these things. I know the photographer would have to be local and the chairs because I would have to return them, but for the flowers, if anyone knows of a good website or something where I could get the flower for cheap and do them myself that would be great. Any ideas for saving money in these areas would be great also. I don't want to spend Altot of money but I still want it to be nice. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!!I'm looking advice for a florist, chair rentals, and photographer for wedding in North Houston, TX?
I'm getting married in Houston on the Northside as well! My wedding is in 15 days :) The florist i would recommend is LZ Floral. They do a great job, and they are really easy to work with. Pretty inexpensive and she does a terrific job (my cousin used her for her wedding in April).

For a photographer, we are using Loyd's Photography. They are located on 1960 near Stuebner Airline. They are great! We already took our Engagement pictures, as well as bridals. Sara, the photographer is great, and she takes amazing pictures. They're prices are really reasonable and they offer different packages.

hope this helps! Congratulations!I'm looking advice for a florist, chair rentals, and photographer for wedding in North Houston, TX?
Hi Kaitlin %26amp; Warm Wishes on your upcoming nuptials! I'm sure that you are excited.

Have you already determined where the wedding/reception will be held?

If so, your venue could make recommendations on vendors that they have used in the past, or perhaps they have their own inventory.

Would you share a little more about what you've already determined %26amp; that will guide advice that you receive.

Need chiavari chair rental for NWI wedding in September 2010?

I am looking to rent about 130-150 chiavari chairs in silver, black or white for a September 2010 wedding. I do not want to spend more than $3 a chair. Does anyone know of any companies that are in the Northwest Indiana/Chicago area?

I have a background in broadcast journalism and currently work in public relations with a background in television, radio, print and online media. I would be happy to trade my services to better a company's marketing, website, etc. that would then lower the price of their rental. Or if the company is willing to sponsor my wedding I'd be happy to advertise their company information in our wedding program.

Please help! Thank you very much. This would completely transform my hall into the timeless elegant day I'm envisioning.Need chiavari chair rental for NWI wedding in September 2010?
I suggest trying Craigslist.com for your area.

I need advice! What do you think about my choice of chair rentals?

I have an autumn themed wedding. My linens are ivory with a gold organza overlay. my center pieces are floral with some willow branches and other fall foliage incorporated into them in dark urns. The wedding is indoors and will be at night.

For the cost and the look, these are the chairs I chose: http://www.amigopartyrental.com/*widgets鈥?/a>

They are fruitwood folding chairs with a tan pad for $3.00 a piece.

Should I have chosen the lighter wood color?:

I tend to like dark colors, but my linens are light. Any opinions?I need advice! What do you think about my choice of chair rentals?
No, you chose just right. The darker color goes with what season your getting married and the theme of the wedding. Spring and Summer call for lighter colors and Fall and Winter call for darker colors.I need advice! What do you think about my choice of chair rentals?
Defintely the dark ones.

Stop second-guessing yourself, it sound like your reception will be classy %26amp; beautiful!
They're only chairs, don't worry so much about the color; comfort is more important. those chairs look really uncomfortable since there's nothing to support the lower back.
I like the dark ones as well, the light ones are nice but I think with the fall theme the dark ones will look elegant.
I think if you are worried about light chairs or dark chairs, then you are worrying too much. The chairs you selected will be fine. Don't second guess yourself.

Don't stress. Go take a break from the wedding planning. Have a pedicure and a manicure and a glass of wine.

You are going to have a lovely wedding. No one will notice whether your chairs are light or dark. Your decision was just fine.
Hi. I love the dark one you chose. It's more elegant looking and will be perfect against your lighter color linens. You did a good job! Keep the dark one. Good luck!
you made the right choice. dark wood lends a simple elegance to any room and any occasion, so keep the dark chairs! the only thing i would question is, can you get them to put the darker cushions on the dark chairs? i think it would look much nicer. the light cushions on the dark wood look a little stark - stand out too much. if your linens have a gold organza over them then the darker cushion would look really nice. just a thought!

have a great wedding and a happy marriage!
definitely the darker one
I really like the ones you chose, I think it will turn out really nice and blend together.
i would have gone with the dark also....
I can't really be sure, but I think that probably indoors, at night, you made the right choice by going with the darker chairs.
I tend to go for darker woods as well, and it seems like you tried to coordinate the dark urns and the dark chairs. But honestly, no one is going to pay attention to what kind of chairs you have. It is one of those details that brides become preoccupied with, but that 99.9% of guests won't give a second thought to. So, get whatever chairs you want, and try not to stress over the small stuff. Enjoy your planning! ;-)
I think either would look nice with what you have described.

Chair Rentals for Wedding & Reception?

We are having our wedding and reception both at an outdoor location. We are planning on getting married outside and having the reception under tents at the same location. Do we need to rent double the chairs so we can have them set at both the ceremony and reception even though these are just yards away? My fiance is being cheap and saying that the guests can move the chairs, but I feel that this is rude. Also could the guests be seated in the tents at the table and we get married outside of them, or would this be rude?Chair Rentals for Wedding %26amp; Reception?
the guests are not going right from seating at the wedding... to seating at the reception........

hire a few people to move the chairs in an orderly fashion.Chair Rentals for Wedding %26amp; Reception?
the guests shouldn't have to move the chairs. a wedding planner, the wedding party, or your close family members and friends should do it. if you're going to do this. have a coctail hour outside until the setting up in the tents is finished. it would be hard to move all those chairs while guests are hovering.
