I'm looking advice for a florist, chair rentals, and photographer for wedding in North Houston, TX?

I am getting married in October of this year, I am looking for:

Florist- I need 1 brides bouquet, 4 brides maids, 3 mothers corsage, 1 groom boutonniere, 4 best men boutonniere, 3 fathers boutonniere, and 1 throw away. Also an undecided number of small centerpieces. I would like real flowers but if you think silk would be cheaper then I can do that also.

Chair rentals- I'm looking for the white wood reception chairs. These will be for the actual ceremony and I need about 200 of them.

Photographer- Obviously for the wedding, ceremony and reception. No video just pictures.

What I'm really looking for is advice on how to do all these things. I know the photographer would have to be local and the chairs because I would have to return them, but for the flowers, if anyone knows of a good website or something where I could get the flower for cheap and do them myself that would be great. Any ideas for saving money in these areas would be great also. I don't want to spend Altot of money but I still want it to be nice. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!!I'm looking advice for a florist, chair rentals, and photographer for wedding in North Houston, TX?
I'm getting married in Houston on the Northside as well! My wedding is in 15 days :) The florist i would recommend is LZ Floral. They do a great job, and they are really easy to work with. Pretty inexpensive and she does a terrific job (my cousin used her for her wedding in April).

For a photographer, we are using Loyd's Photography. They are located on 1960 near Stuebner Airline. They are great! We already took our Engagement pictures, as well as bridals. Sara, the photographer is great, and she takes amazing pictures. They're prices are really reasonable and they offer different packages.

hope this helps! Congratulations!I'm looking advice for a florist, chair rentals, and photographer for wedding in North Houston, TX?
Hi Kaitlin %26amp; Warm Wishes on your upcoming nuptials! I'm sure that you are excited.

Have you already determined where the wedding/reception will be held?

If so, your venue could make recommendations on vendors that they have used in the past, or perhaps they have their own inventory.

Would you share a little more about what you've already determined %26amp; that will guide advice that you receive.

Need chiavari chair rental for NWI wedding in September 2010?

I am looking to rent about 130-150 chiavari chairs in silver, black or white for a September 2010 wedding. I do not want to spend more than $3 a chair. Does anyone know of any companies that are in the Northwest Indiana/Chicago area?

I have a background in broadcast journalism and currently work in public relations with a background in television, radio, print and online media. I would be happy to trade my services to better a company's marketing, website, etc. that would then lower the price of their rental. Or if the company is willing to sponsor my wedding I'd be happy to advertise their company information in our wedding program.

Please help! Thank you very much. This would completely transform my hall into the timeless elegant day I'm envisioning.Need chiavari chair rental for NWI wedding in September 2010?

I need advice! What do you think about my choice of chair rentals?

I have an autumn themed wedding. My linens are ivory with a gold organza overlay. my center pieces are floral with some willow branches and other fall foliage incorporated into them in dark urns. The wedding is indoors and will be at night.

For the cost and the look, these are the chairs I chose: http://www.amigopartyrental.com/*widgets鈥?/a>

They are fruitwood folding chairs with a tan pad for $3.00 a piece.

Should I have chosen the lighter wood color?:

http://www.amigopartyrental.com/*widgets鈥?/a>

I tend to like dark colors, but my linens are light. Any opinions?I need advice! What do you think about my choice of chair rentals?
No, you chose just right. The darker color goes with what season your getting married and the theme of the wedding. Spring and Summer call for lighter colors and Fall and Winter call for darker colors.I need advice! What do you think about my choice of chair rentals?
Defintely the dark ones.

Stop second-guessing yourself, it sound like your reception will be classy %26amp; beautiful!
They're only chairs, don't worry so much about the color; comfort is more important. those chairs look really uncomfortable since there's nothing to support the lower back.
I like the dark ones as well, the light ones are nice but I think with the fall theme the dark ones will look elegant.
I think if you are worried about light chairs or dark chairs, then you are worrying too much. The chairs you selected will be fine. Don't second guess yourself.

Don't stress. Go take a break from the wedding planning. Have a pedicure and a manicure and a glass of wine.

You are going to have a lovely wedding. No one will notice whether your chairs are light or dark. Your decision was just fine.
Hi. I love the dark one you chose. It's more elegant looking and will be perfect against your lighter color linens. You did a good job! Keep the dark one. Good luck!
you made the right choice. dark wood lends a simple elegance to any room and any occasion, so keep the dark chairs! the only thing i would question is, can you get them to put the darker cushions on the dark chairs? i think it would look much nicer. the light cushions on the dark wood look a little stark - stand out too much. if your linens have a gold organza over them then the darker cushion would look really nice. just a thought!

have a great wedding and a happy marriage!
definitely the darker one
I really like the ones you chose, I think it will turn out really nice and blend together.
i would have gone with the dark also....
I can't really be sure, but I think that probably indoors, at night, you made the right choice by going with the darker chairs.
I tend to go for darker woods as well, and it seems like you tried to coordinate the dark urns and the dark chairs. But honestly, no one is going to pay attention to what kind of chairs you have. It is one of those details that brides become preoccupied with, but that 99.9% of guests won't give a second thought to. So, get whatever chairs you want, and try not to stress over the small stuff. Enjoy your planning! ;-)
I think either would look nice with what you have described.

Chair Rentals for Wedding & Reception?

We are having our wedding and reception both at an outdoor location. We are planning on getting married outside and having the reception under tents at the same location. Do we need to rent double the chairs so we can have them set at both the ceremony and reception even though these are just yards away? My fiance is being cheap and saying that the guests can move the chairs, but I feel that this is rude. Also could the guests be seated in the tents at the table and we get married outside of them, or would this be rude?Chair Rentals for Wedding %26amp; Reception?
the guests are not going right from seating at the wedding... to seating at the reception........

hire a few people to move the chairs in an orderly fashion.Chair Rentals for Wedding %26amp; Reception?
the guests shouldn't have to move the chairs. a wedding planner, the wedding party, or your close family members and friends should do it. if you're going to do this. have a coctail hour outside until the setting up in the tents is finished. it would be hard to move all those chairs while guests are hovering.

How much are whell chair rentals at disneyland?

i know that u get them first come first serve but how much are they? do they usually get rented out fast? How much are whell chair rentals at disneyland?
    $10 + a $20 deposit per day

    No discounts for multiple days

You are not allowed to bypass any lines. In Disneyland, some of the older attractions may make you go in an alternate entrance, but they have the right to make you wait the amount of time posted on the que before boarding you. At CA Adventure, all of the ques are ADA compliant so you will wait in the normal que with everyone else. The guest assistance card offered at Guest Relations in either park does not apply to wheel chair guests becuase those guest will be accomodated at the individual attraction. I just don't want you to expect to get on a ride any faster. Starting Decemeber of 2003, they cracked down on all the misuse of special assitance in the parks. Also, wheel chairs are given on a first come, first served basis. On a busy day THEY WILL RUN OUT. Make sure you get to the stroller shop early if you go on a busy day.How much are whell chair rentals at disneyland?
$10 per day, but you and your group can usually bypass many of the lnies. They also require a$20 deposit. It is a little cheaper if you are there for multpile days I think.
The last time I rented one, it was $6, plus a $20 refundable deposit. It has been over 10 years, so the cost has surely gone up.

They have plenty and probably won't run out.

It;s definitely worth the fee because you won't have to wait in line for any of the rides, except Indiana Jones. Indiana Jones has a wheelchair accessible line, but the other rides do not.

Have you looked into chair rentals for an outdoor wedding?

i was just curious about the cost.. i do plan on looking in my local phone book for a chair rental company.. but i was just curious about the average cost ?

in other places.. that way i can see if i'm getting gipped or somethingHave you looked into chair rentals for an outdoor wedding?
    chairs are expensive

basic plastic folding chairs about $2

    wooden folding chairs $4

chavari chairs (the fancy ones) up to $11

if you want chairs cover they are about $7 per chair

it's an incredible expenseHave you looked into chair rentals for an outdoor wedding?
Many churches or funeral homes let you borrow their chairs for events like this at no charge, if they don't have an event happening at the same time. Churches don't charge you for the use, but it would probably be nice to give an offering to the church for the gesture. It's cheaper than renting.
I rent chairs all the time.

In my area (SF Bay Area), white plastic folding chairs are 1.55, wood folding chairs with padded seats are 3.75 and chiavari chairs (a bamboo look) with a seat cushion are 8.75. The delivery is 125.00 IF you can do it ANYTIME on a weekday and have pickup ANYTIME on a weekday. Otherwise, if you're talking about ';timed'; delivery and ';timed, late-night'; pickup, it's 450.00. Also, here's the doozy: setup and takedown of each chair is 1.75 to 3.00 each, depending on the chair. If you have friends that can do your chair setup and takedown, that will save you a bundle.

Do use a bigger, nicer rental company or you may end up with beat-up chairs that have been badly repainted. I know my company isn't the cheapest, but I know they are the only one I can count on for decent products.

    Good luck!
I am doing this, I have hired 44 chairs at a cost of 拢166, this is including VAT, dropping them off and collecting them and th congestion charge in London UK. It's expensive but what other option do you have apart from getting them to sit on the grass?
If you find the prices too high, consider a reasonable donation to a church or other organization for the use of their chairs.
I had two choices to choose from. The one like the previous poster posted. I believe it was about the same. I went for the white wooden chairs, they were $2.50 per chair.
I just got married in June and my chairs were 2.50 each plus 50 cents per chair to set them up. I felt like I was getting ripped off but that was the going rate in my town. Sometimes if you look for companies that are not wedding oriented but do rentals you get a better price for hte same chair. Good luck and congratulations!
I rented white chairs for my wedding reception and they were only $1.25 per chair but prices range differently I'm sure from shop to shop. Picture in link below...

Wedding tent an chair rental question?

We are currently interested in possibly renting a tent for our outdoor wedding with about 70 guests in case there would be rain. My mom has a beautiful yard about 5 acres and were planning an outdoor wedding on May 2nd and I am worried about spring time rain. Also we were curious about chair rental of again for 70 guests? Any one have some experience renting a tent or chairs and an idea of the cost of one or both? Wedding tent an chair rental question?
I live in North Florida and we were looking at renting a tent as well. It turned out that we didn't need to as we found another ceremony/reception site, but the price I was quoted was $400.00 for the tent and another $200.00 for them to deliver and set it up. That was for 70 guests also. As far as the chairs go, I was quoted between $1-3, depending on the type of chair you get.

Hope this helps! :-)Wedding tent an chair rental question?
What you need to do is make sure to take into consideration everything you want %26amp; need the tent to cover. Is there an indoor area for the reception %26amp; you just need it for the ceremony? That would be a fairly small tent! If you need if for both, then you will need one big tent or two smaller ones; remember that for the reception you would need to put food table, cake table, beverage station, guest seating %26amp; possibly dancing. That is a bigger space!

Chairs are usually sold in several styles: white wood is the most common %26amp; usually the cheapest at about $2.5-4.00 each plus set up at about $.10-.25 per chair.

Reputable rental companies in your area should have everything you need %26amp; I really stress getting everything from one vendor if possible!
It is a great idea to rent everything for a wedding. I even rented my wedding dress and brides maid dresses. Check the rental section in your local yellow pages. Have a list of questions with you and check with the BBB in your area to be sure the company you choose is a good one. Also make sure they will deliver, set up, and take away in enough time for you to be able to decorate and clean up! Good Luck and Congratulations
The chairs we used for our wedding were $5 per chair to rent. If we wanted the chair people to set them up and take them down they added another $2 per chair. We decided to do that, it was less of a hassle for us. I can't help you with the tent though. You might want a back up plan though, just in case it does rain and sometimes with a spring rain it is really chilly outside.
It depends on your area for the cost of rentals... but my chairs were $1 apiece and the tent w/ set up was close to $400. (a tent that fit 6 tables of ten people each) That's a lot of money taken out of your $1,000 budget.... ps. I live in central PA
All depends on where you are. Maybe about 1000.00
I live in Dallas and I'm kind of doing the same thing so I will tell you how much it costs here.

    size 30x30 Capacity 74 Price for 1 - 7 days $400.00

    White folding chair Price: $1.50

It would cost about $505 without delivery and I chose the cheapest of everything. You should think about table rental as well.

My wedding is also on a very small budget $1400 (40 people) including the dress. I've made a lot of stuff and found super deals on things. The tent will be the biggest cost for you, the chairs aren't so bad. :)

Help! chair rental dilemma for wedding reception?

I have the hall for my wedding reception booked. it was a great price for the location, unfortunetly the chairs provided by the lodge are an eye sore! this is the place:http://www.laparks.org/dos/reservations/grace_photoalbum.htm

I'm having a summer wedding, my dress is ivory and the bridesmaids will be wearing yellow. A friend suggested renting chair covers w/sashes but the prices are ridiculous! We're expecting 150 guests and the most affordable rate so far is $2.75 per chair...crazy right?!! Another friend suggested renting wood folding padded chairs. It is more cost effective however, now it comes down to choosing a color. The tables will be covered with floor lenght ivory silk linens. These chairs are available in white and natural wood, i'm not sure what would look best! Would it look tacky to use these for an indoor reception?

    http://culvercity.classicpartyrentals.com/products/chairs/139

Any ideas on how to give these chairs an elegant touch yet affordable?Help! chair rental dilemma for wedding reception?
    Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials!

What you should do about the chairs will depend on your level of formality. As you mentioned, the table linens will be silk, this is a luxurious and formal look! If you have spent the time in picking these linens, that it is your obligation to follow through with a cohesive and elegant look if you don't you may regret it when you see the pictures .... for the rest of your life! Trust me on this one.

If budget is a real concern, I would scale back the florals enough to cover the chair costs, or pinch a little with the hors d'overs during the cocktail hour. No one will notice those as much as the chairs.

As for what to do with the chairs: Silk linens should be complemented with Chavari chairs period. However this is a huge cost. Your only other solution should be to cover the venue's ugly chairs with nice covers and bows.

    Z.

If you need any flower girl dresses or Ring bear outfits my store Everything Nice Fine Childrens Clothing offers a huge selection of all ivory flower girl dresses at really great prices!Help! chair rental dilemma for wedding reception?
Is that price for the covers and sashes?

If it is then rent the just the covers and make the sashes yourself they are easy to do and will save you money.

If you have a relative that can work a sewing machine you can make both the covers and the sashes but this will cost you about half the rental for that many chairs however the up side here is if they work good you can take tons of pictures and the measurements and auction them off on ebay or some other site and get your money back or more depending if you sale all together or in three lots of fifty.
My mother got re-married and I planned her whole wedding (I'm 15!!!) he he I want this to be my future job. Talk to a local seamstress she can most likely make you chair covers that are very elegant Provide her fabric (if you buy large amounts you will get major discount, especially on line) She had ours ready in a month. (175) With paying her, the fabric and a little negotiating came out to nearly nothing in price tag compared to renting chair covers :)
I wouldnt use the wooden chairs indoors. They arent the most comfortable of things to start with...plus they're folding (how many of those wedding candid camera clips involve folding chairs?!) I dont think they will achieve the look.

Try Speaking to the chair cover people and hagling for a large booking discount... you're ordering 150 of them...surely they could knock a lil off
Is your wedding in the southern CA area? if so check out http://www.qualitychaircovers.com their chair covers are $1.99. They also ship nationwide if it is not but there is shipping costs.
do wood if your wedding colors are ivory. the white would stand out too much!
